Hallux valgus corrector

Abstract

The article related to the present design is a hallux valgus corrector for correcting the bending of the first toe (the big toe of the foot). This article has a main body comprising a bag-shaped first toe insertion part for inserting the first toe and an annular instep insertion part provided continuously thereto for inserting the part from the instep to the sole of the foot. The first toe insertion part has an open tip, and the tip of the first toe is slightly visible during use. The main body is made of a thin material rich in elasticity. An elongated band for hooking on the heel is attached to the end of the main body (opposite to the first toe insertion part). The band is made of a material rich in elasticity. One end of the band is sewn to the tip of the first toe insertion part and further sewn along the side parts of the first toe insertion part and the instep insertion part. Since this part of the band is sewn in an extended state, this part is in a contracted state when not in use. When using this article, insert the first toe into the first toe insertion part and the part from the instep to the sole of the foot into the instep insertion part, and hook the band on the heel. When this article is worn, the first toe is naturally pulled in the opposite direction to the fifth toe. This article can be used for both the right foot and the left foot.
