Scraper

Abstract

This article is a scraper used in a seaweed foreign matter separation and removal device. The seaweed foreign matter separation and removal device is used to remove foreign matter mixed in the mixed liquid of raw seaweed and seawater. The seaweed foreign matter separation and removal device has a housing portion composed of a plurality of fixed bodies and a plurality of rotating bodies, each having an annular shape. The fixed bodies and the rotating bodies are alternately arranged in the vertical direction. The rotating body is rotatable relative to the fixed body. A gap is formed between the fixed body and the rotating body. Foreign matter larger than the gap cannot enter the internal space of the housing portion and remains outside the housing, and only the raw seaweed passes through the gap. Thereby, foreign matter is separated and removed from the raw seaweed. The tip of the scraper fixed to the rotating body enters the gap. As the rotating body rotates with respect to the fixed body, the scraper fixed to the rotating body moves in the circumferential direction along the gap with the tip entering the gap between the fixed body and the rotating body.
