Wiring box

Abstract

The present article relates to a wiring box used for installing switches, outlets, modular jacks for LAN cables, etc. on a wall surface or the like. Explaining with reference to the usage state diagrams 1 and 2, the present article is inserted into a through-hole drilled in a wall material from the wall surface, the clamping claws are erected from the wall surface and pulled toward the back surface of the wall material to be fixed to the wall material, and the tip of an electric wire conduit that houses cables is inserted into a substantially U-shaped connection portion, whereby the electric wire conduit on the back side of the wall material can be connected to the present article. Further, a claw passage portion is formed in the connection portion for allowing the clamping claws to pass through the connection portion without contacting the connection portion when the clamping claws are erected.
