Vertical member of the portal gantry

Abstract

This article relates to a vertical member for a gantry used for the loading of heavy objects such as large equipment and air-conditioning equipment, including the handling, installation, relocation and disassembly of heavy objects, automotive maintenance, engine replacement, the attachment and removal of machine tool accessories, and the loading of construction materials. As shown in the explanatory drawing showing the usage state with this article erected, this article includes a weight support outer cylinder 1 and a weight support inner cylinder 2 whose height can be changed. The lower parts of these can be inserted into a lower support member 3 and a central support channel member 4. Further, side channel members 5, 5 whose proximal ends are pivotally supported on both sides of the central channel member 4 are provided. Conveyor rollers 41, 41, 51, 51 are provided on the central channel member 4 and the side channel members 5, 5 respectively. Also, the distal ends of actuating rods 6, 6 are pivotally supported at the distal ends of the side channel members 5, 5, and the proximal ends of the actuating rods 6, 6 can be pivotally supported by a support outer cylinder fixing member 7 provided at the upper end of the weight support outer cylinder 1. Note that this is an actuating knob 8 used when sliding the central channel member 4 and the side channel members 5, 5 to a predetermined position. In use, with this article erected, as shown in the explanatory drawing showing the usage state, when the conveyor rollers 51, 51 of this article are placed on the ground and the actuating knob 8 is moved in the direction of the black arrow, the conveyor rollers 51, 51 provided at the distal ends of the side channel members 5, 5 move in the direction of the white arrow, and the distal end moves outward with the proximal end of the actuating rod 6, 6 as the center. Then, the lower support member 3 and the central channel member 4 move downward, and the central channel member 4 and both side channel members 5, 5 move to a linear position, and all the conveyor rollers 41, 41, 51, 51 come into contact with the ground. After that, a fixture 10 such as a rod or a bolt is inserted and fixed through the through-hole 9 to complete the assembly. After the assembly is completed, as shown in the reference drawing showing the usage state, steel materials such as H-shaped steel, square pipes, and channels installed on the upper part are fixed, and chain blocks, hoists, etc. are attached to the steel materials for use in the handling, installation, relocation and disassembly of heavy objects, the attachment and removal of machine tool accessories, the loading of construction materials, etc.
