Axis seat of the pivot hinge

Abstract

As shown in the reference figures 1 and 2, this article is a casting integrally having a pivot shaft, a support portion for supporting the pivot shaft, and a fixing portion for fixing to a door frame. It is fixed to the lower part of the door frame using screws in the through hole of the fixing portion. A bearing member fixed to the lower part of the door body is fitted onto the pivot shaft of this article to support the door body so that it can be opened and closed. As shown in the reference figures 1 and 2, the support portion for supporting the pivot shaft of this article has a head portion having a height dimension (i.e., the height dimension n of the support portion shown in the reference figure 3) that is 50% or more of the width dimension (i.e., the left-right length dimension m of the support portion shown in the reference figure 3), and a tail portion that is continuous from the head portion via a stepped portion to the upper surface side and via a curved protruding portion to the right side surface side. The head portion is provided with a circumferential portion that extends over 240° or more around the axis of the pivot shaft in a plan view, as shown in the reference figure 4. The fixing portion of this article has a recess shown on the left side surface side, as shown in the reference figure 1. The recess is configured to avoid the through hole.
