Abstract
This article is a split yoke that constitutes a yoke of a joystick device for operating, for example, the arm of an excavator. Two such split yokes are combined to form a yoke portion. As shown in the reference exploded perspective view, the joystick device using such a split yoke can tilt and rotate the operation lever 100 in a first direction and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The operation lever 100 is provided with a first operation axis 120 that allows the operation lever to tilt and rotate in the first direction, and a second operation axis that allows the operation lever 100 to tilt and rotate in the second direction. The first operation axis 120 is provided on the operation lever 100, and the second operation axis is attached to the yoke portion that sandwiches the first operation axis 120. The yoke portion is a combination of two split yokes 210A and 210B of the same shape. Operation shaft portions 212A and 212B that constitute the second operation axis are formed on the split yokes 210A and 210B, respectively. When the split yokes 210A and 210B are combined with the first operation axis 120 sandwiched therebetween, the operation shaft portions 212A and 212B become a second operation axis orthogonal to the first operation axis 120. The ball portion 110 provided at the base end portion of the operation lever 100 shown in the reference exploded perspective view is penetrated by the first operation axis 120. The case base 300 supports a flange bush 320 that is externally fitted to the operation shaft portions 212A and 212B that constitute the second operation axis. The case cover 330 is connected to the case base 300 with bolts 340 in a state where it penetrates the operation lever 100. The connecting pin 250 connects the two split yokes 210A and 210B. The compression spring 370 applies a restoring force to the operation lever 100 to return it to the neutral position. The boot 390 is for preventing dust and the like from adhering to the yoke portion and the compression spring 370 above it in order to reliably protect the operation of the joystick device.
