Sorting machine for resin pellets

Abstract

This is a resin pellet sorting machine that optically identifies and sorts out defective pellets contained in the resin pellets while transporting them. Inside the machine, a belt-type transport conveyor is installed horizontally, a raw material inlet is provided above the transport start end, and an optical detection unit and sorting unit are provided at the transport end. The resin pellets discharged and dropped in a strip from the belt-type transport conveyor have defective pellets optically identified by the optical detection unit, and the defective pellets are sorted and removed by a high-pressure air blast from the sorting unit.
