Dead branch picker

Abstract

This article is used to remove dead branches at high places on trees. It consists of nine rods with different diameters and is telescopic. A concave fitting is attached to the tip of the rod to hook and drop the dead branches. By having multiple fine protrusions provided on the upper and lower edges of the concave fitting bite into the dead branches, slippage of the concave fitting against the dead branches is suppressed, and the dead branches can be easily removed. The nine rods that make up the rod are arranged with the larger-diameter ones on the outside and the smaller-diameter ones on the inside. By accommodating the other eight rods inside the one with the largest diameter, the rod is in the most shortened state. Also, the rod can be extended by pulling out the rod accommodated inside the rod with the largest diameter in the state where the rod is most shortened. In the state where the rod is extended, the lower end of the thin rod is inserted into and fixed to the upper end of the adjacent thick rod. Furthermore, for the upper ends of the rod from the rod with the largest diameter to the fifth-largest-diameter rod, by tightening the thick rod from the outside with a clamp attached to the outer circumference, the thin rod arranged inside can be fixed more firmly.
