Lid for a packaging container

Abstract

This article is a lid for a packaging container formed by combining blanks for each of the side surface and the lid surface while being formed by a press machine, and is used as a detachable lid for a packaging container having a circular shape at the edge. The blank forming the outer peripheral side surface is folded inward at the lowermost part of the side surface, and the inner peripheral side surface is formed by the blank folded inward. The blank forming the lid surface is bent downward inside the blank forming the side surface while the edge is folded downward. The portion of the lid surface edge bent downward is sandwiched between the portion folded inward at the lowermost part of the side surface, whereby the blank of the side surface and the blank of the lid surface are integrated. A recess is provided on the outer surface of the side surface along the circumferential direction, and a protrusion is provided on the inner surface below the lid surface along the circumferential direction corresponding to this recess. This article can be engaged with the edge of the packaging container by the protrusion provided on the inner surface, and is difficult to be detached from the packaging container after being engaged. A step is formed on the outer peripheral side surface of the lid by a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion. As shown in the reference cross-sectional view, a plurality of articles of the same shape can be densely stacked, and the overall volume during stacking is reduced compared to lids that cannot be stacked or are difficult to stack.
