Scattering prevention device

Abstract

This article is a scattering prevention device that is attached to a lawn mower for weeding weeds and the like, and prevents the scattering of grass, stones, etc. forward (traveling direction), backward (reversing direction), and to the left and right during the mowing operation. It is composed of a frame body and a cover body. The frame body has, at its front, a pair of front mounting rods that are rotatable in the front-rear direction (longitudinal direction) and movable in the left-right direction (width direction) and are attached to the front of the lawn mower, and, at its rear, a rear mounting rod that is attached to the handle of the lawn mower (see the reference perspective view showing the usage state). Magnets are provided on the tip sides of the pair of front mounting rods. The cover body has a net, a hook-and-loop fastener, and weights, and is detachably attached to the frame by the hook-and-loop fastener (see the enlarged view of the A-A' part, the enlarged view of the B-B' part, and the enlarged view of the C-C' part). The net is in a mesh-like (meshed) state that can be seen through so that the inside can be seen from the outside or the outside can be seen from the inside. Further, the weights are provided at the lower parts of the cover body on the sides facing the left side surface and the right side surface of the lawn mower in order to prevent the cover body from being caught by the blade of the lawn mower by wind or the like.
