Interior of the ion exchange resin regeneration treatment chamber

Abstract

This interior is for the regeneration treatment room of a factory that regenerates ion exchange resins. In the regeneration treatment room, there are arranged a separation tank section for containing the ion exchange resin for regeneration, an anion tank section for containing the anion exchange resin, and a cation tank section for containing the cation exchange resin. The ion exchange resin for regeneration in the separation tank section separates due to the difference in specific gravity, with the anion exchange resin on the upper side and the cation exchange resin on the lower side. This separation is not complete, and the anion exchange resin and the cation exchange resin are slightly mixed with each other as contaminants. Therefore, a capturing section is provided in the transfer pipe section, and by utilizing the difference in specific gravity, contaminants are removed during transfer. The conventional transfer pipe section was preferably linear in order to smoothly transfer the anion exchange resin and the cation exchange resin. However, the transfer pipe section of this interior is deliberately made in a T shape and provided with a capturing section in order to remove contaminants.
