Clamping device

Abstract

This article is a clamping device that can be suitably used to fasten a fixed plate to which a predetermined workpiece, jig, device, etc. are fixed, and a support such as a pedestal or a base element that supports or holds such a fixed plate to each other. By means of a built-in permanent magnet and a solenoid, as shown in the reference enlarged cross-sectional views 1 and 2 showing the usage state, a clamping bush having a shape corresponding to the fastening pin portion of this article attached to the fixed plate and the fastening pin portion of this article are clamped. By performing the clamping state and the unclamping state while switching the operation responsively and holding the clamping state, there is no need for an operating mechanism using a pressure fluid such as hydraulic pressure or pneumatic pressure. By making the outer shape into a cylindrical shape without overhang, it is possible to reduce the deposition and adhesion of dust, etc. during use. Also, by preventing screws, etc. for assembling the main body from being exposed on the outer surface, it is ensured that the main body will not be accidentally disassembled due to misuse. In the six-sided view, the drawing of the electric wire for supplying power to the solenoid built in the main body is omitted.
