Abstract

This image is used to assist in taking a portrait photo in a predetermined composition by being displayed so as to be superimposed on a live view image in a photographing device or another information device that remotely operates the photographing device. The photographer adjusts the composition while checking how this image overlaps with the subject. "Image Diagram 1" has horizontal and vertical lines that serve as a guide for the position of the face, and below that, there is a line that serves as a guide for the position of the chest, representing an image used for taking a bust shot (photo above the chest). Also, "Image Diagram 1" represents an image displayed when the photographing device is used in the vertical position. "Image Diagram 2" represents an image displayed when the photographing device is used in the horizontal position. "Image Diagram 1" and "Image Diagram 2" are in a vertical and horizontal position relationship. When the photographing device is tilted by 90 degrees while either image is being displayed, the image automatically switches according to the orientation of the photographing device.
