Valve body for butterfly valve

Abstract

This article is a valve body for a butterfly valve. As shown in the "Reference Explanation Diagram of Each Part of the Valve Body", when this article in the fully closed position perpendicular to the fluid flow direction is viewed from the upstream side, the right side portion of this article is used as the orifice side, and the left side portion of this article is used as the nozzle side. That is, when this article in the fully closed position perpendicular to the fluid flow direction is viewed from the downstream side, the right side portion of this article is used as the nozzle side, and the left side portion of this article is used as the orifice side. Incidentally, as shown in the "Reference Explanation Diagram of Each Part of the Valve Body", during the valve opening operation in which the valve body in the fully closed position is opened, the part that moves in the same direction as the flow direction is the nozzle side, and the part that moves in the direction opposite to the flow direction is the orifice side.
