Abstract

This manual electronic computer input device includes an integrated palmar ball support surface, as shown in the figure. It is a novel, original, and decorative design that does not provide support for the palm or first and second knuckle surfaces of the user, but instead allows the entire hand to rest on the top of the device in a relaxed, novel position. While the choice of ball and buttons is at the user's discretion, the design is intended for right-handed users. Figure 1.7 shows the recommended top surface for left-handed users. The right and left perspective views, reference figures 1.1 and 1.9, respectively. Shading in the figure is for purposes of illustrating the contours of the surface. The dashed lines in the figure are peripheral only and do not form part of the design sought to be registered.
