Abstract

This is a new and original design for an electronic computer input device with an integrated palm-base support surface. There is no support surface for the user's palm or proximal and intermediate fingers, with the entire hand resting on the top of the device in a relaxed, novel position. The design supports a multi-touch surface and / or top button clicks, scrolling with or without a wheel. The pattern on the top of the palm-base surface is intended to illustrate a cushioned support surface for the base of the user's hand. The dashed lines in the illustrations are for peripheral objects only and do not form part of the design sought to be registered. The shaded lines in the illustrations are intended to illustrate the contours of the surface.
