Abstract

The present article relates to a kitchen for residential use and, as shown in the attached drawings, comprises a top plate for a kitchen counter having a plurality of rectangular waste holes for throwing in food waste etc. between a sink and a cooking work space, and a cabinet having a space for receiving food waste etc. thrown in from the waste holes with a plastic bag etc. Further, the cabinet has a drawer-like structure and the plastic bag etc. can be pulled out to the front. With the above configuration, an operator can discard food waste generated in the sink such as peeling etc. and food waste generated in the cooking work space etc. into the waste holes from both sides. Also, since there are a plurality of waste holes, plastics such as trays attached to food can be separated and discarded. Further, at the end of the work, since the plastic bag etc. containing waste can be easily taken out from the front, hygiene can be maintained. Note that the waste holes may have rounded corners.
