Abstract

This article is used, for example, to connect refrigerant copper pipes. Two circumferential grooves are formed beside the nut of this article. A marker is provided in the circumferential groove adjacent to the nut to prompt the operator to tighten the nut to this position, and a marker is provided in the deeper circumferential groove to make the operator recognize not to overtighten. In order to prevent the nut from obstructing the visual inspection of the marker during the connection operation with a refrigerant copper pipe or the like, a tapered portion is formed on the nut.
