Lid for a beverage container

Abstract

This article is a lid for a beverage container that is fitted onto the outer periphery of the circular upper end of a cup-shaped beverage container. This article functions as a lid when attached to a beverage container filled with a beverage, and is configured to enable drinking of the beverage using a straw inserted into the opening. Further, this article also functions as an auxiliary container for holding topping foods such as ice cream, shaved ice, and fruits inside the recess so as not to mix with the beverage in the beverage container (see the reference cross-sectional view showing the usage state).
