Electronic pen

Abstract

This product is an electronic pen that performs input operations by bringing the pen tip close to the screen of a tablet or the like. It has a movable body that has a pen tip, electronic circuitry, a rechargeable battery, and a USB port inside a cylindrical barrel made up of a front shaft and a rear shaft. By pushing the knob on the rear of the rear shaft, the pen tip can be made to protrude and retract from the front end of the front shaft. Whether the pen tip is in the protruding or retracted position, by rotating the rear shaft relative to the front shaft, the USB port of the movable body will align with the elongated opening in the side of the rear shaft, exposing the USB port from the opening. Alternatively, the USB port of the movable body will shift relative to the opening in the side of the rear shaft, covering the USB port with the side of the rear shaft. By pressing two internal input buttons via a transparent, elastic grip attached to the front shaft, the electronic circuit of the movable body will react differently, allowing different input operations to be performed.
