Shellfish cages

Abstract

This product is a culture cage with a hanging ring used for cultivating shellfish such as scallops. The overall shape is roughly a square pyramid, with a hanging ring at one of the four ridges of the pyramid, diagonally opposite the corner of the base corresponding to the ridge where the shellfish entrance is located. This hanging ring can be hung on a hook or the like to hold the culture cage, or the cage can be lifted by holding it. The hanging ring can be made in the order shown in (1) to (4) in the "Reference diagram showing how to tie the hanging ring."
