Medical solution administration device

Abstract

This device is a drug solution administration device for administering drug solutions to a human body (e.g., the abdomen). It has a cap attached to the tip of a main body equipped with a drug solution injection needle, and a syringe containing drug solution is housed inside the main body. To use the device, the cap is removed and the tip of the main body is pressed against the human body, causing the drug solution injection needle to puncture the body surface and administer the drug solution. Because the main body becomes thicker toward the tip, it is easy to apply force when pressing the main body against the body and is easy to grip regardless of the size of the user's hand. During drug solution administration, the main body can be hung around the user's neck or placed on a desk or other surface. The outer surface of the main body near the tip is chamfered to prevent it from rolling when placed on a desk or other surface. The user can check the amount of drug solution in the syringe stored inside through approximately track-shaped windows on the top and bottom sides. The chamfering reduces the distance between the syringe and the outer surface of the main body, and the window edge widens from the syringe side toward the outer surface of the main body, improving the visibility of the syringe and making it easier to check the amount of liquid medicine.
