Operating room interior

Abstract

This interior design features multiple shooting lights on the ceiling above the operating table, surrounded by surface lighting. The shooting lights, which allow for adjustment of lighting direction, can illuminate the surgical field with high illuminance and shadowless illumination in any area, while the surface lighting provides uniform illumination throughout, creating a shadowless environment within the room. This eliminates the need for the ceiling-suspended operating lights (shadowless lights) that have been used in the past, and also allows the entire room to be brightly illuminated. Furthermore, since there is no need to install ceiling-suspended operating lights, the ceiling height of the operating room can be set lower, which reduces the floor height and reduces the cost of the building structure. It is also possible to install operating rooms in low-floor areas such as outpatient clinics and wards, or to renovate existing hospital rooms into operating rooms.
