Abstract
The article to which the present design pertains (hereinafter referred to as "the article") is a food storage container used for storing processed or cooked foods. The article comprises a container body that is approximately rectangular in plan view with an opening that opens upward, and a lid that closes the opening of the container body. The container body of the article comprises a peripheral portion that protrudes outward from the periphery of the opening, an annular stepped portion that extends circumferentially at a position one step lower than the inside of the peripheral portion, and three storage compartments that are respectively partitioned in the area inside the stepped portion. The three storage compartments of the article are partitioned into different sizes by a short-side connecting portion that connects the stepped portion of the container body in the short direction slightly toward the right in the longitudinal direction, and a longitudinal connecting portion that longitudinally connects the short-side connecting portion with a part of the stepped portion slightly toward the front in the short direction. The three storage compartments of this product are formed in the shape of a roughly inverted rectangular prism, a rectangular support base that gradually tapers from the inside of the stepped portions and each connecting portion of the container body toward the bottom, and are of different sizes to be used for storing foods of different sizes and amounts. Meanwhile, the lid of this product has an annular outer abutment piece that abuts against the periphery of the container body when closed, and an inner abutment piece that is provided inside this outer abutment piece and abuts against the stepped portions and each connecting portion of the container body when closed, closing the opening of the container body and blocking the flow of food between the storage compartments. In addition, both longitudinal ends of the peripheral edge of the container body of this product each have a recess in which the center is recessed toward the opening, leaving both short-side ends intact, while both longitudinal ends of the lid each have a bulge portion in which the center bulges outward in an arc shape from both short-side ends to the recesses of the container body, so that when the lid is opened, each bulge can be lifted directly from below through each recess of the container body, allowing the lid to be opened smoothly.
