Abstract

The object is a deck of 52 playing cards, each with four suits (spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs) and 13 ranks (A, 2-10, J, Q, and K) marked on the front. As shown in "Reference Diagram 1 Showing the Names of Each Part" and other figures, each card displays an index indicating the card type in one of the four corners. Furthermore, for each "A" card shown in "Reference Diagram 1 Showing the Names of Each Part," the suit designation is located on the center line parallel to the long side, as shown in "Reference Diagram 1 Showing the Names of Each Part," on the opposite side of the center line parallel to the short side from the index designation. Furthermore, for each "J," "Q," and "K" card shown in "Reference Diagram 11" through "Reference Diagram 13," the suit cluster, as shown in "Reference Diagram 2 Showing the Names of Each Part," is located in the center of the card, with individual suit units located on either side of the cluster, along the center line parallel to the long side. The suit collection consists of nine suits at rank "J", ten suits at rank "Q", and eleven suits at rank "K".
