Authentication Machine

Abstract

This product is an "authentication device" installed at gates that manage people's entry and exit, and performs facial authentication of passersby using images captured by a camera. This product comprises an authentication device main body with a camera unit and a small housing that supports the main body. The small housing is equipped with a gray sheet for adjusting the exposure of the main body's camera, an infrared irradiation unit, and a sensor. As shown in the "Reference Explanatory Diagram," the camera of the authentication device main body captures the gray sheet in the small housing, and the camera unit of the authentication device main body adjusts the exposure so that the color of the gray sheet becomes the specified brightness.
