Abstract
This image is for operating a vision measuring instrument that captures an image of a measurement target placed on a table and then measures and displays the length and other characteristics of the target from that image. The image of the target captured by the vision measuring instrument is displayed in the center of the image, as shown in Reference Image 1, which shows the operating state. The "Auto" button at the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image is used to automatically extract elements (contours) from the image of the target. Pressing and holding the "Auto" button changes the "Auto" button from a black background to a white background, as shown in Reference Image 2, which shows the operating state. Selection buttons for extracting straight lines, circles, or arcs from the image of the target are displayed from left to right, along with an adjustment bar for adjusting the element extraction level. Pressing and holding the "Auto" button changes the selection button from a black background to a white background. Adjusting the level on the adjustment bar to the left or right displays the corresponding level in orange. The second-to-top finger-shaped "Trace" button on the toolbar on the left side of the image is used to extract elements based on the trajectory the user traces across the image of the object being measured. Holding down the "Trace" button changes the display from a black background to a white background, as shown in Figure 3, which shows the state of use. From left to right, the following selection buttons appear: one for extracting elements along a line from the point cloud within the area traced across the image of the object being measured; one for extracting elements along the shape of the point cloud within the area traced across the image of the object being measured; and one for extracting elements along an arc from the point cloud within the area traced across the image of the object being measured. An adjustment bar also appears, allowing you to adjust the range of influence of the trace. Holding down the "Trace" button selects the selection button, which changes the display from a black background to a white background. Adjusting the level of the adjustment bar to the left or right highlights the corresponding level in orange.The eraser-shaped "Erase" button, located in the third row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is used to erase unnecessary markings (such as dimension lines) displayed on the image. Pressing and holding the "Erase" button changes the "Erase" button's background from black to white, and an adjustment bar appears for adjusting the range of the erased area, as shown in Figure 4 (Reference Image 4), which shows the button in use. Pressing and holding the "Erase" button changes the displayed level to the left or right, and the corresponding level is displayed in orange. The pen-shaped "Write" button, located in the fourth row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is used to write text or other characters freehand on the image. Pressing and holding the "Write" button changes the displayed level from black to white, and an adjustment bar appears for adjusting the thickness of the text, as shown in Figure 5 (Reference Image 5), which shows the button in use. Pressing and holding the "Write" button changes the displayed level to the left or right, and the corresponding level is displayed in orange. The "Text" button, located in the fifth row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is used to enter text into the image using a keyboard or other device. When the "Text" button is selected, the "Text" button changes from a black background to a white background. The "Lighting" button, located in the sixth row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is used to adjust the direction and intensity of the lighting for the object placed on the table of the vision measuring instrument. When the "Lighting" button is selected, the "Lighting" button changes from a black background to a white background, and adjustment bars are displayed to adjust the intensity of the lighting for the object from above and the intensity of the lighting for the object from below, as shown in Reference Image 6, which shows the operating state. When the "Lighting" button is selected and the level of the displayed adjustment bar is adjusted left or right, the corresponding level is displayed in orange. The caliper-shaped "Caliper" button, located in the seventh row from the top on the toolbar on the left side of the image, is operated to display a caliper (ruler tool) on the image. When the "Caliper" button is pressed and held, the "Caliper" button changes from a black background to a white background, as shown in Figure 7, a reference image showing the state of use, and a selection switch is displayed that activates the process of attaching the caliper to the extracted element.As shown in Figure 7, when the selection switch is moved to the right to turn it on, it is displayed in blue. As shown in Figure 8, when the selection switch is moved to the left to turn it off, it is displayed in gray. The "Axis Settings" button, located in the eighth row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is operated by the user to set coordinate axes on the image and display the distance between two points based on the set coordinate axes. When the "Axis Settings" button is selected, the "Axis Settings" button changes from a black background to a white background. The camera-shaped "Capture" button, located in the ninth row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is operated to capture an image. The trash can-shaped "Clear All" button, located in the tenth row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is operated to erase all the images displayed on the image at once. The left-facing "arrow" button, located in the eleventh row from the top of the toolbar on the left side of the image, is operated to temporarily hide the toolbar. When the left-facing "arrow" button is selected, the toolbar is hidden and a right-facing "arrow" button is displayed, as shown in Figure 9, showing the usage state. Then, pressing the "arrow" button pointing to the right displays the toolbar again. Of the four buttons at the top of the operation panel on the right side of the image, the top right button is used to display the diameter of a circle, the top left button is used to display the distance between lines, the bottom right button is used to display the angle, and the bottom left button is used to display the radius of an arc. When a button is selected, the corresponding button changes from a black background to a white background. Of the four buttons at the bottom of the operation panel on the right side of the image, the top right button is used to confirm the operation, the top left button is used to cancel the operation, the bottom right button is used to redo the next operation, and the bottom left button is used to return to the previous operation. When a button at the bottom of the operation panel on the right side of the image is disabled, the white part turns gray.
