Assembled furniture blocks

Abstract

This product is a block for assembly furniture that can be used to create desired furniture, such as tables, shelves, chairs, indoor pet houses, and ornaments. This block for assembly furniture is configured so that it can be connected to other blocks for assembly furniture on each of its six sides. Specifically, the blocks for assembly furniture can be connected to each other using connecting members, as shown in "Reference Figure 1 (before connection) showing the state of use" and "Reference Figure 2 (after connection) showing the state of use." The connecting member, as shown in the "Reference Plan View of the Connecting Member," "Cross-Sectional View along Line CC," and "Cross-Sectional View along Line DD," consists of a cylindrical body with cross-shaped holes on both sides and a locking rod that can be inserted into either of the vertical or horizontal holes that make up the cross-shaped holes. When the cylinder, with the locking rods inserted selectively on both sides, is inserted into the central hole of the block for assembly furniture (as shown in the "Reference Cross-Sectional View before locking") and then rotated in the direction of the arrow, the locking rods lock the connecting member to the block for assembly furniture, as shown in the "Reference Cross-Sectional View after locking." On the other hand, when the cylindrical body is rotated in the opposite direction, it returns to the state shown in the "reference cross-sectional view before locking," and the locking state between the connecting member and the assembly furniture block can be released. By connecting assembly furniture blocks together via such connecting members, it is possible to create furniture of a desired shape, such as that shown in "Reference Figure 3 showing the state of use."
