Transfer assistance device

Abstract

The design article is a transfer aid that assists users in transferring. As shown in Reference Perspective View 1 and Reference Perspective View 2, which show the functions of each part, the article comprises a frame that forms the framework of the transfer aid, a footrest provided at the bottom of the frame on which the user places their feet, an upper body support that supports the user's upper body relative to the frame, and seat pieces rotatably supported on the left and right sides of the frame. The upper body support has a chest support that supports the user's chest from the front, left and right side support pieces inserted into the user's sides to support the upper body from below, knee support pieces that support the user's knees from the front, and a grip that can be held by the user. When a user stands up from a seated position on the seat piece, the upper body support piece tilts forward so that the user leans against the upper body support piece, and the upper body support piece rises while supporting the user's upper body, and the footrest tilts forward together with the upper body support piece, thereby assisting the user in standing up. The left and right seat pieces can be rotated around the frame as a fulcrum, allowing the user to enter and exit from the rear.
