Abstract

The article to this design is a cutting tool for performing grooving and profiling on a workpiece, as shown in the reference drawing showing the state of use. The article to this design has a holder, an insert, a presser foot, and a fastening member. The insert is fixed to the holder by the presser foot when the fastening member is tightened. The article to this design has a retraction portion that transmits the pressure of the presser foot to the insert and presses it to fix the insert to the holder. The retraction portion is composed of the retraction pressing portion of the presser foot and the retraction pressure receiving portion of the insert.
