Abstract
These welding pliers can be used to attach and detach nozzles from welding torches, pull out welding wire, and remove spatter from the nozzle tip. To remove spatter from a nozzle, as shown in Reference Figure 1 (showing the usage state), hold the gripper in your hand, insert the forked jaws into the nozzle tip, and firmly grip the jaws to bring the jaws into contact with the nozzle's inner periphery. Rotating the jaws along the nozzle's circumference causes the side walls of the protrusions on the jaws' tips to scrape off spatter from the inner and outer peripheries of the nozzle tip. Alternatively, after the jaws are in contact with the nozzle's inner periphery, the scraper can be moved axially to scrape off spatter with the base end wall of the protrusions. Reference Figure 2 (showing the usage state) shows the state in which spatter is scraped off with the base end wall. Spatter can also be scraped off with the forked jaws closed (see Reference Figure 3 (showing the usage state)).
