Abstract

This device is a locking / unlocking device that is attached to the wall surface of a building fixture. The device is installed by embedding the recessed portion on the back side into the wall, and the reading portion on the front side, which is wider than the recessed portion, is exposed on the wall. The reading portion has a square shape with sharp corners on the front side, and the periphery gradually widens in all directions toward the back side, and the corners are rounded with gradually increasing radii when viewed from the front, giving it a trapezoidal shape when viewed from the side. An ambient light sensor is provided on the side of the front of the device. A small speaker hole is provided on the bottom of the device. The reading portion serves as a contactless authentication unit and has the function of reading contactless cards, contactless keys, or contactless tags, thereby unlocking the door.
