Abstract
This product is a driving rod for driving plywood formwork inserts into objects, particularly those with three resin nails set into a plastic base. This product can be made of cast metal, for example, and is composed of a driving rod, an upper holder, and a lower holder, as shown in the "Reference Exploded View." To use this product, the plastic-based insert is inserted from the bottom, and then the top of the driving rod is pressed against the mounting location of the plywood frame, as shown in the "Reference Oblique View Showing Use." By striking the top of the driving rod with a hammer or similar, the three resin nails of the insert are simultaneously driven in, securing the insert hardware to the desired location on the plywood frame. The "Cross-Sectional View with Insert Inserted" shows the insert in place, "Cross-Sectional View 1 with Insert Inserted" shows the state before the impact, and "Cross-Sectional View 2 with Insert Inserted" shows the state after the impact. With this product, whereas previously it was necessary to fix three plastic nails one by one at the installation location, it is now possible to complete the fixation of the insert by simply pressing it against the installation location and striking it. This significantly improves work efficiency, for example, at construction sites where hundreds of inserts need to be hammered in. Furthermore, as shown in the "cross-sectional view," the groove on the inside of the lower part of the holder constituting this product gradually slopes from the bottom to the top on both sides, narrowing the groove width. This creates a force that holds the insert in place when it is inserted, preventing it from falling off while pressing the product against the installation location of the plywood frame. Furthermore, once the insert is fixed, it can be easily removed from the product by simply lifting the product up.
