Abstract
The article of the present design is a shelf that forms part of a rack for storing containers in a warehouse. A transport robot runs on the shelf carrying transport containers containing various items. In a plan view, notches are formed in each of the four corners of the shelf. The shelf is supported by a support column at the positions of the notches. The shelf is made of a lattice-like mesh material, which allows smoke and water to be quickly vented through the shelf in the event of an emergency such as a fire.
