Animal trap

Abstract

This item is an animal trap for capturing cats and other small animals. The animal trap's housing is made of a roughly square aluminum frame, with grooves formed in the center of the aluminum frame's sides to hold a transparent resin plate. Reinforcing angle bars are placed where the aluminum frames intersect. The front door is opened by being pushed inward into the housing. The front door is configured by attaching a frame material to the center of a transparent resin plate held by the aluminum frame, with the transparent resin plate attached to the frame material so that the top part can pivot. The rear door is a drop door. The sides, top, bottom, and drop door of the animal trap are configured with transparent resin plates held in grooves in the aluminum frame. The area near the top drop door is configured to accommodate a trigger mechanism, with the transparent resin plate held in an aluminum frame positioned separately from the housing and fixed with hinge screws. This transparent resin plate is held slightly above the housing and can be removed. As shown in Usage Explanation Diagram 1 and Usage Explanation Diagram 2, after a small animal enters the animal trap, the drop door will drop downward due to an appropriate trigger mechanism, trapping the small animal. The front door is equipped with a front door lock knob that can be locked and unlocked as needed. The top of this animal trap has a carrying handle, which is fixed to the transparent resin plate (identified by hatching) that makes up the top surface, as shown in the AA cross section. The rear door has a knob for raising and lowering the drop door. This animal trap is not intended to cull small animals, but rather to capture them and then sterilize or release them in a harmless location, so there are no meshes on either the sides, top, bottom, front door, or drop door for inserting culling equipment.
