Abstract
This product is a paper food packaging container for storing food such as confectionery. The product is constructed from a single sheet-like paper member, as shown in the "Reference Exploded View." Furthermore, as shown in the "Reference View Showing the Names of Each Part," the product comprises a box-shaped container body for storing food, and a lid that is pivotable in the vertical direction at the upper end of the rear surface of the container body and is closed when pivoted downward and opened when pivoted upward. The container body has a folding portion on the upper front surface, surrounded by an upper cut line (slit), cut lines (perforations) on both left and right sides, and a lower fold line (the center of the folding portion's rotation). The lid has a protruding insertion portion on its front end that fits into the cut line to keep the lid closed, and engagement portions are formed on both left and right ends of the insertion portion that releasably engage with engagement receiving portions of the container body. Therefore, after the food to be stored has been placed in the container body, when the lid is closed, the insertion portion is inserted into the cut line, the engaging portion of the insertion portion engages with the engaging receiving portion of the container body, and this engagement keeps the lid in the closed state. Then, when the food inside the container body is subsequently removed from the container body, as shown in "Reference Diagrams (1) to (3) Showing the Use State," the folding portion is cut along the cut line and bent forward about the fold line to form an opening for exposing the insertion portion, exposing the insertion portion. Then, the insertion portion is bent upward about the fold line to release the engagement between the engaging portion and the engaging receiving portion, thereby opening the lid. In this case, the insertion portion has a recess that communicates with the opening for exposing the insertion portion, and this recess can be used to easily bend the insertion portion upward.
