Abstract

This item is a connector used by DIY (Do It Yourself) users and others to secure boards in an orthogonal position. This item is constructed by bending a single wire member, with the open ends of the beveled wire facing each other closely. This item securely holds boards with a relatively small number of bending points (14), and the open ends are not exposed in the finished piece of furniture. The reference diagram showing the usage shows the procedure for connecting a flat board HR and a vertical board VR in an orthogonal position, with the bent end pieces C1 and C2 hidden inside the boards HR and VR.
