Abstract

The design article is a spoon with a detachable collar attached to a predetermined position near the neck of the spoon. In one mode of use, the collar (see reference image) is attached to the spoon to prevent the tip of the spoon from touching the back of the throat and the head of the spoon from touching the table. In another mode of use, the spoon can be used as a standalone spoon without the collar.
