Abstract
This is a drop lid for use during the simmering and boiling process of cooking. It is made of domestic sawara wood and has a cross-shaped lattice that makes it easy to hold from any direction. The cross-shaped lattice also prevents the drop lid from tilting when removed after cooking, making it less likely to make a mess in the kitchen.
