Abstract
The article of the present design is a grating support member. The grating support member of the present design (hereinafter referred to as the "Article") is a member placed on the top surface of a beam used in a floating floor structure installed on a balcony, terrace, rooftop, etc., to support a grating attached along the sash or exterior wall of a building. As shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, the Article has a base-side fixing portion, a tip-side mounting portion, and a locking portion erected on the mounting portion, and is sized to fit on the top surface of the beam of the floating floor structure. The fixing portion has through-holes and screw holes through which spacer pieces that function as beam joints can be inserted when the Article is attached to the top surface of the beam. The mounting portion is equipped with a buffer material for cushioning when the grating is placed on it. To install the Article, first insert a spacer piece into the through-hole of the fixing portion, as shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, to position the fixing portion between the top surface of the beam and the floor material, and the mounting portion to be located on the outer edge of the top surface of the beam. In this state, by inserting a screw into the screw hole, the product can be fixed to the top surface of the bundle. Next, as shown in Reference Figure 2, which shows the state of use, flooring is placed so that it sandwiches the spacer piece inserted into the through hole, and the fixing part is firmly sandwiched between the flooring and the top surface of the bundle. In this way, as shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, which show the state of use, the product can be easily installed and fixed to the top surface of the bundle by inserting the spacer piece into the through hole, which greatly improves workability during construction. Furthermore, because the grating placed on the mounting part can be supported by the product and the bundle, the product can appropriately support the load applied to the product when a person steps on the grating.
