Abstract

The article of the present design is a grating support member. The grating support member of the present design (hereinafter referred to as the "article") is a member placed on the top surface of a beam used in a floating floor structure installed on a balcony, terrace, rooftop, etc., to support a grating attached along the corner of a building's sash or exterior wall. As shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, the article has a base-side fixing portion, two perpendicular mounting portions at the tip end, and a locking portion erected on the mounting portion, and is sized to fit on the top surface of the beam of the floating floor structure. The fixing portion has screw holes formed in it for attaching the article to the top surface of the beam, and the mounting portion has a buffer material for cushioning when the grating is placed on it. To attach the article, first, as shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, the two perpendicular mounting portions are positioned at the outer edge of the top surface of the beam, and the fixing portion is positioned inside the top surface of the beam, and screws are inserted into the screw holes to secure it. Next, as shown in Reference Figure 2, which shows the state of use, the fixing part is sandwiched between the top surface of the bundle and the floor material and firmly fixed. Then, as shown in Reference Figure 2, which shows the state of use, this product can support the grating orthogonally using the two orthogonal support parts, allowing the grating to be placed along the corners of a building. Moreover, as shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, it can be easily installed and fixed to the top surface of the bundle by simply placing the tips of the two orthogonal support parts on the outer edge of the top surface of the bundle, greatly improving workability during construction. Furthermore, because the grating placed on the support parts can be supported by this product and the bundle, it can appropriately support the load applied to the product when a person steps on the grating.
