Abstract

This is an air compressor that is mounted on vehicles, etc., and supplies compressed air to pneumatic machinery such as air brakes. This compressor takes in air from a first-stage intake port and performs first-stage compression in a low-pressure cylinder, discharges this compressed air into a pipe from a first-stage exhaust port, cools this compressed air in a cooling section within the pipe, and then introduces it into a high-pressure cylinder from a second-stage intake port, where it performs second-stage compression, and supplies the air compressed in the high-pressure cylinder to the pneumatic machinery from a second-stage exhaust port.
