Abstract
This product is an air chuck used to inflate vehicle tires. An example of how this product is used is shown in the reference diagram. As shown in the reference diagram, this product has a cylindrical body with a grip that an operator can hold during operation, and a head at one end of the body. Air is supplied to the other end of the body from an air source (arrow A). An air supply passage (not shown) is formed inside the body, and the air supply passage can be opened and closed using an open / close button provided on the body. When the open / close button is pressed from the outside of the body, the air supply passage opens; when not pressed, the air supply passage remains closed. This product has a compact configuration consisting of a cylindrical body with a grip and a head, and an open / close button. To explain how this product functions, as shown in the reference diagram, an operator first holds the grip and presses the head against the tire valve. This enables air from the air source to be supplied to the tire. In this state, the operator presses the open / close button with their finger. This opens the air supply passage, allowing air from the air source to be supplied to the tire (arrow B). Thus, while this product has a compact configuration, the operator can hold the grip and press the head against the tire valve while operating the open / close button with their fingers, making it easy to adjust the amount of air supplied to the tire. This simplifies the process of filling a tire with air.
