Toggle Pin

Abstract

This article is a toggle pin used, for example, to connect multiple mechanical components or other objects so that they can rotate relative to one another, or to rotatably attach one or more mechanical components or other objects to predetermined locations. As shown in the reference diagram showing the state of use, for example, with this article inserted across the pin insertion holes of multiple mechanical components, the tip retaining member protruding from the pin insertion hole can be pulled out lengthwise to release it from engagement with the pin body, and then bent at a substantially right angle, thereby connecting the mechanical components together.
