Abstract

The solid-line image in the figure shows an operation screen that is displayed on the onboard display inside the taxi and allows touch operation to select functions executed by the taxi operation support application. Selecting the "Message" icon in the upper left corner switches to a screen where messages can be sent and received between the administrator and the driver, as shown in Figure 1. On this screen, channels can be set for purposes such as dispatch requests, and messages can be sent and received between the administrator and members (drivers) (see Figure 4). Selecting the "Status Display" icon directly below the message icon superimposes colored marks corresponding to the operation information of each vehicle, indicating the location of the vehicle and other vehicles, on a map of the area around the vehicle, as shown in Figure 2. Selecting the "Support Data" icon directly below the status display icon superimposes circular marks corresponding to past operation performance information on a map of the area around the vehicle, as shown in Figure 3. The circular marks are sized according to past operation performance, and the number of operations performed is displayed inside. The operation screen is displayed on all screens, and selecting an icon allows switching between the message, status display, and support data functions.
