Abstract

The article to which the design relates (hereinafter referred to as the "Article") is a pair of tights. The pants section (the section from the crotch up) and the foot section (the section from the ankle to the toes) of the Article are constructed with a terry weave to improve heat retention. Therefore, the pants and foot sections are bulky with the terry weave, and the fabric is thicker than the leg section (the section from the crotch to the ankle). The leg section is constructed with plating knitting (a knitting method in which two threads pass through the path normally taken by one thread) to enhance the smoothness of the fabric.
