Medical device for suppressing tricuspid regurgitation

Abstract

This article is a catheter device for suppressing tricuspid regurgitation. The article comprises an anchor portion, a curved portion, a spacer portion, and a tip portion. The anchor portion is located within the inferior vena cava and stabilizes the article against the blood vessel wall. The spacer portion is configured to be positioned across the tricuspid annulus to improve coaptation of the tricuspid valve leaflets, thereby suppressing tricuspid regurgitation. The tip portion is located within the pulmonary artery and securely positions the article.
