Bracket for beams to reinforce automobile bodies

Abstract

(1) This article is intended to connect one side of an automobile body to the opposite side via a beam (a rod-shaped reinforcing member). Specifically, as shown in Reference Figures 1 to 3, which illustrate the use state, this article is fixed to one end of the beam, and a mating article is fixed to the other end of the beam. The mating article has a bilaterally symmetrical shape to the present article. (2) For example, as shown in Reference Figures 2 and 3, which illustrate the use state, this article and its mating article are attached to the respective members supporting a pair of left and right rear wheel suspensions. In this way, the beam indirectly connects the left and right sides of the vehicle frame via this article, etc. (3) In this way, the strength of the vehicle body is reinforced, and the beam is expandable and contractible with a predetermined resistance and shock absorption, thereby mitigating impacts on the frame when the vehicle is traveling (especially on rough roads). This improves the ride comfort of the vehicle.
