Pipe inspection plug

Abstract

The article relating to this design is a pipe inspection plug used when performing pressure tests on the piping route after the water supply and hot water piping has been laid. As explained by the reference diagram showing the state of use, when a resin pipe is inserted from the collar side of this article, the resin pipe is held in place by a locking member provided inside, and the article and the resin pipe are connected. To release the connection, the locking member inside expands in diameter by rotating and pressing the collar, allowing the resin pipe to be released. The valve mechanism with a handle can be operated to open or close it. A hose can be attached to the air vent port, and by opening the valve mechanism, air can be vented from the piping route.
