Pet cushion

Abstract

This product is a cushion made of fabric encasing a core material, and is a pet cushion designed to be installed on buggies and carts used to carry pets such as dogs and cats. As shown in the reference diagram illustrating the usage state, this product is folded and positioned along the edge of the buggy's opening, sandwiching the edge. It is attached to the buggy by magnetic attachment points located at the four corners of the product. This reduces the impact even if a pet in the buggy bumps against the edge of the buggy. The amount and position of the core material are adjusted so that the product can be easily folded. Due to the construction of this product, as shown in the reference diagram illustrating the usage state, a pocket portion can be positioned on the inner surface of the buggy when in use. The pocket portion is mainly formed by sewing the part of the fabric other than the opening to the cushion surface. The dashed lines in the diagram represent seams. Because the pocket portion is mainly made of fabric, it is small in thickness and appears as a straight line in the plan view, bottom view, and side view. The reference cross-sectional view shows the threads (and their positions) that make up the seams. The pocket section of this item is divided into three sections and has three openings. Each opening has two buttons (snap buttons) that allow it to be secured. The buttons on the cushion section are recessed when fastened and are not visible from the outside. When the pocket section is placed inside the stroller, it is possible to adjust the temperature environment of the pet by placing, for example, an insulating material or a cooling pack in the pocket. For reference, the left and right ends of this item have multiple attachment points (four in total) including magnets. These magnets allow the item to be attached to and detached from the stroller. As shown in the reference diagram, each attachment point can be attached to and detached from the cushion section of this item using a button (snap button). Each attachment point consists of a magnet, a fabric portion that encloses the magnet, and a button. The fact that the attachment points can be removed from the cushion section makes it easy to wash the cushion section. Also, when the item is not folded, it can be used as a seat cushion for pets. In this case, it can be used as a seat cushion with the attachment points removed.For reference, this item is reversible and can be placed on a stroller with the side without the pocket facing outwards. Also, as shown in the reference diagram illustrating the usage, a small pocket separate from the main pocket may be formed in a position where the inside and outside are opposite to the main pocket when placed on a stroller.
